Alan is a Principal of ENFORM Architects. He has more than 20 years of practical and leadership experience. He studied Architecture in the UK; and has worked across the globe including Singapore and India. His expertise is in project management and complex project delivery. He has extensive experience in the mixed-use commercial sector, and the educational sector. He also specializes in retrofit and building renewal.

Recent work includes 485 Albert St (6 storey residential, Net Zero), 285 Queen St (15 storey residential, high performance), the Grey Highlands Bunkie (Net Zero), and technically complex Laboratory Retrofit Projects such as the University of Toronto Sio Chu Gregory Lab at Earth Sciences, the Lash Miller Computer Lab Renovation, and the GIRMOS Lab Renovation at the McLennan Physical Laboratories Building.  Also, selected renovation, restoration and redevelopment work at the Toronto Dominion Centre and Simcoe Place, and interior design of the McLean Centre for Indigenous & Canadian Art at The AGO (Architects: B+H Architects, Project Director: Alan Fraser).  Alan’s deep technical knowledge and precise understanding of construction process offers unparallel value to his clients.

Alan was previously a Principal at B+H Architects, where he managed some of the office’s largest, most challenging projects including 28-Storey Deloitte Tower, Montreal (Architects: KPF/B+H Architects, Project Manager: Alan Fraser), 10-Storey Office Tower - 402 Dunsmuir Street, Vancouver (Architects: B+H Architects, Project Manager: Alan Fraser), 22-Storey SickKids PSC Tower (Architects: B+H Architects, Project Manager), Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation (Architects: B+H Architects, Project Manager: Alan Fraser) and the Lash Miller Lab Ventilation Upgrades (Architects: B+H Architects, Project Director: Alan Fraser)

Apart from his dedicated professional duties, Alan is a volunteer mentor to the OAA / JVS Internationally Trained Professional program; and works to improve the professional through advocacy and training..
