Model Explorations [ENFORM in Collaboration with TMU]

2022.08.18

ENFORM in collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) developed three physical models exploring high-performance detailing and zero carbon buildings. A combination of laser cutting and 3D printing were used to fabricate the models ranging in scale from the 1:5 detail to the 1:50 building. The models were used as a research and learning opportunity for the students, as well as presentation materials for ENFORM to communicate our ideas around high-performance detailing. We would like to thank the Department of Architectural Science at TMU and Business + Higher Education Roundtable for their generosity and assistance with this project, and to all of the individual students and research assistants who participated.
