Kevin Stelzer

Kevin is the founding principal of ENFORM Architects. Previous positions included principalships at Brook McIlroy Incorporated and B+H Architects. He has worked across Canada, the United States, the UAE and Asia. He studied architecture at the University of Waterloo and studied Building Science at the University of Toronto. He is a licensed architect, Certified Passive House Designer, Building Science Specialist of Ontario (BSSO), and a LEED accredited professional. He has served on the CaGBC Energy & Engineering Technical Advisory Group, on the UN Sustainable Buildings & Climate Initiative Task Force, volunteered for the World Green Building Council and currently serves on the CaGBC Embodied Carbon Working Group
He has extensive experience in sustainable design, construction documentation and engineering coordination. He has participated in some of Canada’s most compelling high-performance projects including: The Mohawk College Net-Zero Energy Partnership & Innovation Centre (McCallumSather & B+H Architects), The Humber College BLDG Nx Passivhaus Retrofit (B+H Architects), The UBC AMS Nest (DIALOG & B+H Architects) and the First Canadian Place Recladding & Renewal (MdAS & B+H Architects).
Kevin speaks widely on topics of sustainability and architecture and teaches building science at the University of Toronto. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Toronto; in their zero-carbon renovated 1880s era house.
