Dylan Durst is a Principal with ENFORM Architects. He is an experienced project architect with professional experience working on commercial, institutional, mixed-use and residential projects. He earned his Master of Architecture from Carleton University's Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism. Dylan's project experience spans across Canada, encompassing a broad range of project types including deep energy retrofits, building renewal, new developments, and strategic sustainability planning. With a team-based approach, Dylan works closely and collaboratively with clients and consultants to deliver complex projects, being involved in all aspects of projects from design to construction.

Prior to joining Enform, a few of Dylan's career highlights include: Project Architect of the deep energy retrofit of a 1970s office tower at 60 Bloor Street West (B+H Toronto); Winner of a Canadian Architect Award of Excellence for the Eagle Mountain Middle School project (B+H Vancouver); and Co-founder of Hello Architecture, a small architecture studio focused on designing cottages, custom homes, and small commercial spaces like micro-breweries.

Dylan believes the future of architecture involves incremental steps toward transformational, sustainable change, and each project has a role to play in decarbonizing the future. He is passionate about building better, healthier, more sustainable, low-carbon, durable buildings. In addition to Dylan’s project work, he also volunteers for the RAIC's Climate Action Plan Working Group and is excited to bring his experience on deep energy retrofit projects to advocate for a low-carbon building industry.
